I have heard being a cam girl you can make a lot of money, is anyone a cam girl?? and what do you actually have to do??lol

Well I don't think there is a dress standard for this line of work. You're saving money on a uniform already - what a start!

However, realistically i would imagine it would be up to you what you "do". Don't forget it may be self-employed therefore you will need to disclose your earnings to HMRC and do a tax return!

Dont forget people can record and then post it all over the place, which could make your life difficult if someone you know, or end up working for later see it. Plenty of stories of girls sexy pics being emails around the office cause a jeleous or psycho ex sent them

I did it for about a year.
Somedays would be brilliant, I would easily make over £200 after their cut in 3-4hrs. Other days i would sit there dressed up, perfect hair n make up and not make a penny.
And as already mentioned, it depends what your willing to do. Alot of girls will do ANYTHING!!!
It takes a few months to get 'regulars'. I ended up only doing private bookings for 'regulars', it saved sitting around waiting.
Plus you will be hassled not stop to meet them.

As Maroon_jelly said it's not always regular work. I worked for myself via AW and on there could make £100 one night (in 2-3 hours) but the next might be dead and you're struggling to make a tenner.
The good thing about that site is you set your own rates per minute (about £1-£1.50 per min usually worked for me) but they take a 30% cut.

I also do cams and phone for excel (texts as well actually but that's fairly dead); and it's more regular work as excel advertise in papers etc., but you can still be sitting there for 2 hours sometimes without a call.

It's not easy work; I never show my face (maybe sometimes my mouth) so I can't be recognised, but you have to put up with guys expecting you to erm...well perform on demand...you have to either be a great actress or up for it all the time, as if you're sitting for 2 hours with no calls then suddenly one comes through, the guy on the phone will want you to be his fantasy etc even if you're not in 'that' mood.

Oh - and the guys with cams are sometimes old/dirty looking/not your type at all, which is a bit off putting but you have to ignore it.
