Work to live or live to work?

  • I would say do a job you love.

Both me and my girlfriend have done high stress/high pay jobs. She earned £150k in her final year, it nearly killed her. I worked for a corp, I hated it, hated them, and couldn't get out fast enough. I am now going back to what I loved doing, why I fell in love with my job originally, slightly less pay, but worth it.

If I was you I would think about getting known, I suspect the issue as to why you are not making money is down to your networking/etc.

Anyway stick to what you love, money will be able to buy you "stuff" but will the hideous nature of selling your soul be worth that shiny new gadget? Or that holiday? Do you know why people take lovely holidays in barbados, etc? To get away from there !!!! jobs and life at home.. Take it from me money is not the be all and end all, personally would love to live on a smallholding, growing my own veg, few animals, no fancy crap :)
