You could do an apprenticeship and get a qualification whilst you are earning. The pay is not fantastic (about £ 95 pw) but you would be investing in your future. The training is on the job, with some formal training through an accredited learning provider. The government funds the apprenticeship so there is no cost for the learner.

Also, you could approach a provider in your area and ask them to match you with a local employer
My DS was in nursery until a couple of years ago. The assistants worked long hours for not a lot of pay initially but once you are qualified (to level 2 initially) the conditions improve.Keep calm and carry on0
