Hello!

Some of you may remember Ben Needham who went missing from the Island of Kos in 1991 aged just 21 months.

Ben would be 21 years old now and his family have never given up hope of finding him despite it becoming more & more difficult to keep Ben's profile in the media.

Many leads were not followed up correctly in the early days and further leads that have come to light have not been thoroughly followed up since.

Ben's family have started a petition to try & force the re-opening of the case and the follow up of the leads. The petition can be found here......

http://www.gopetition.com/petition/42827.html

Please can you take a few minutes to sign.

There is a new website detailing the whole story, details of birthmarks that Ben has and age progressed pictures as to how he may look now. Details of how to contact your MP and other ways to be able to help here......

www.helpfindben.co.uk

Also, there is a Facebook group called 'Help Find Ben Needham'. Please join and share the links to the campaign & petition on your profile or status - even just for 24 hours - It can make all the difference.

Imagine not knowing what happened to your child and having to live with it for 19 years. If you can help et his name back out there it may be all it takes to reunite a family.

Thanks x

It is hard to believe that it is 19 years since this happened. I remember there was a lot of publicity at the time and for years after. His face is etched on my mind, along with numerous artists impressions of how he may have looked.

The family has my sincere sympathy.
  • Ben is the same age as me such a tragic story. Thoughts with the parents keep the hope alive.

    I'll sign it too.

Bens face is still imprinted on my mind. I can remember the photo of him as if it were yesterday. Is it really almost 20 years ago? I can't begin to imagine how ben's parents must feel. A big hug to them xx

I fear this will be the same for the parents of Madelaine M****n, 20 years downn the line, too. Although i have little sympathy for them leaving their VERY young children alone, while they went out to the restaurant, they were both healthcare professionals, think of how much easier, and safer, it would have beem to pay a babysitter, to look after their children for a few hours. I can't understand why nothing has ever been said about child neglect? ( which it was, leaving your children alone, in the apartment ). I suspect if it had have been anyone else, there would have been a huge amount of negative publicity. A fact which seems to have been totally ignored, to my knowledge.

Maybe it sounds like i'm being harsh, because have'nt they suffered enough? On the other hand ? Such a simple disregard for your childrens safety.

However, the m*****s must live with the consequences of their decision for the rest of their lives, and for this, you have to sympathize with them.

Sorry to sidetrack off the original post. I don't wish to sound critical of the M**anns, its not my intention, at all.

Back to Ben Needham. Off to sign the petition, now.......................
