Aqua cancelled my pp
HETTY
Hi
I have been on a payment plan with aqua for about a year now. my balance was coming down nicely as there isnt any interest.charges being added.
I got my statement for this month and it seems the plan has been cancelled! They now want £190odd a month and im now getting interest added!
Iv had no letter or anything saying they were going to do this, so i dont understand why.
Feel like i back to square one again, the amount iv got budgeted to pay in each month (35) is going to be eaten up in interest.

I don't know what Aqua is Hetty...is it a paying DMP?
What reason did they give for cancelling? Do you have the original agreement you can refer to?0 -
I can only suggest you write to them asking them to reinstate the interest freeze otherwise it will take you xxxx months at 35 quid a month to pay them off... If you can only pay 35 a month then only pay that. If you have already been defaulted for not making a minimum payment then your credit rating may be damaged anyway. If you have a good credit rating it may be worth renegotiating a payment you can do so you dont get defaulted.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0

Aqua is a credit card.
I have sent them a letter asking why it was cancelled and explaining that the amount i was paying is all i can afford at the moment, hopefully it was a mistake and they will set the arrangement up again.
