Anyone know where my sister can pick up 60 conicle vases 80cm. She is doing table decorations for her sons wedding and is looking for the cheapest possible. Is there any wholesalers she can try or suppliers??

http://www.michaeldark.co.uk/ you could see if they have any here.

Depending on where she lives but I always use Country Baskets, nr Wakefield or ... http://www.countrybaskets.co.uk/branch-information.php only small ones online but the wholesalers have tons of vases at good prices. You do need a card for here though

  • Have you tried ikea? They have loads of cheap candle holders/vases in there. Or take a look in the kitchen/glassware section...a friend of ours used funky wine glasses.....after all they look good on a table and can be re-used or gift-tagged as favours to thank your guests!

You can buy plastic vases, like a bag that folds flat, but if u want glass, ikea's are only about 99p ish.

thanks but are they 80cm tall?
  • 80cm??? That is pretty tall for a vase. Wow guests won't be able to see eacher other over the flowers and vases lol.

Here is the link to ikea'svases. Can't see any cheap ones that are 80cm though.

the conical ones are skinny and tall so when the arrangement is in them it towers above the table and will then obsturct the guest view on the table.

Can I just say my friend had these at her wedding reception, 3 got knocked over and smashed as the tables were not quite big enough to have such a big vase and they were in the way even with the shape but they were fantastic to look at :)

  • Would you be able to hire them from the type of places that hire chairs, dinner services, glasses etc for marquee does.

She could hire them but I think she would like to buy them as she wants the guests to be able to take the arrangements home after the wedding.
  • Ah I get the idea. They are huge but cool. No idea where you would get those. Hope you find some though.
