No this is Tesco policy throughout all stores. It's on the customer service pledges at customer service, about the last one.
Buy the item and then go to CS and ask for DTD back, ask for a manager if they wont give it to you as it is a policy they have.If you like my post, please click the THANKS

just been to tesco extra in doncaster and they were marked at full price could have done with some as its my boyfriends birthday on sunday oh well 2011 wins!!!

while your there grab the galaxy bubbles big bars, i got 3 yesterday yellow sel stated half price 69p, was charged £1.39 each, got dd back, so 3 bars for free:)is officially a GLEEK0
