Capital One has passed my debt to a collection agency

Help please, I don't know what to do next. I have been negotiating with my creditors for several months now, with some success. All, except Capital One have agreed to my DMP, have accepted my token payment and have agreed to freeze interest.
However, Capital One have always refused to accept my DMP, demanding instead to see bank statements and other financial paperwork before they would consider any DMP. In all the time that I have been negotiating with them (November 2010) I have made token payments to my account of £10.00 per month, which is the amount I have been asking them to accept.
Following advice in various MSE Forum postings, I have always flatly refused to show them said paperwork, referring them to my DMP which I have submitted to them several times. My DMP was put together with the help of my local CAB but I submitted it to all my creditors independently of the CAB. As Capital One continuously stated that they would not accept my DMP and threatened to pass my debt to a collection agency I invited them to sue me for the debt in order to let the courts decide a 'fair' level of payment, but Capital One have instead passed my debt to a collection agency who have contacted me today and are demanding payment in full immediately, or that I begin negotiating with them instead. What should I do?
