Which is the best/worst customer service bank?' poll discussion
I've just had to deal with Santander after a payment I made online was taken twice and I ended up being charged a fee as one had to be returned. Everything was sorted out in less than 5 minutes, mainly due to a very helpful person in the complaints department. My gob is totally smacked - thank you and well done Santander.
I bank with the 1st Class Credit Union. It a current account but you have to save a certain amount each week/month into a share account to qualify as a member. Their rates on loans are fantastic. Check them out. Most credit unions will use this current account managed by the CO. OP. I have a Sky direct debit with them. I went overdrawn and they only charged me £3.00,!! Best current account available.
I used to bank with Nationwide until some snot nosed little oik told me that I needed to learn how to be more careful with my money. I had gone overdrawn coz they had charged me for being overdrawn when there was money in my account. Technical glitsch they said. I walked. Bankers are spiteful and greedy. They take but dont give... but thats business isnt it....
