Need a loan, but guarantor is 70yrs old

    OK, let's calm things down a minute. Apples2 is pretty blunt, but be careful not to make assumptions. He hasn't said that ALL 70 yr olds are vulnerable and incapable of handling debt. He's also clarified that the root of his objection is the fact they need a guarantor loan in the first place.

    If you're desperate to report him, do it. As an ex-moderator on a very large site, I can tell you this isn't what we deal with. Be prepared to discuss differing, possibly offensive opinions calmly, or leave.

  • 70 year olds are not the kind of people that mortgage lenders naturally court at the best of times.
