They also have The New English Kitchen which someone (I think it was thriftlady) mentioned recently for £7.99 (£12.53 @ Amazon) ... Roast Chicken & Other Stories £4.99 (£12 @ Amazon) ... Jamie's Italy £4.99 (£11.99 @ Amazon) as well as numerous other bargains, and if you spend over £30 you get 10 books free (lucky dip!)

I've now got 20 books on order for the grand sum of £32 :T :j :D

    Hi all,

I'm really sorry for the confusion, ..........both threads have been running alongside one another for some time now, so to merge them could mix up the replies a bit.

However, if it would make it easier for everyone if they were to be merged together, please can you let me know, either on one or other of the threads or by pm and I'll be happy to do it. :)

  • Hi does anyone have The Silver Spoon currently no 13 on Amazon? I was lucky enough to get it for Christmas before it sold out. It's a huge book and you get a lot of recipes for your money. It is a translation of an Italian book and unlike italian cookbooks we normally get, I'd say that a lot of them are very economical and don't use huge lists of ingredients - the recipes are simple. The favourite thing I have cooked so far from it is the chicken liver sauce for pasta. Yum.
