dont go with anyone who asks for upfront payment0

Colin - I would beg to differ actually. I would say don't pay upfront payment unless it is a reputable company - I joined one direct selling company with no upfront payment and I never owned my kit and had to rent it from them! Much better IMO to pay a small amount and get stuff that is yours to do with as you like.Goal = £9,000 in 2011, starting in March

It is possible but also depends what you do and how much you do.
I've worked from home fro a few years now but had to do different jobs as not all as are they seem, meaning they promise this amount where in fact its very hard to achieve minimum wage.
Along with your search on here, have a look at sureboom forum, were there are real jobs and real feedback and i've worked for a few of them.
I now do ironing for a company 10-15 hours a week which is ok but could do with some extra as well, eyes are always open to new things.0 -
I've done two "party plan" type companies (I'm being really careful here as I don't want to break the rules) and it is very possible to make more than £100 a week, and that is before you start managing a team. One party usually earns me between £30 and £50, and I also do bigger events where I earn more. Parties can end up earning much more as well - it all depends on planning the party properly!
I found this with my old company, and switched companies to one more suited to my lifestyle now, and have found it again. As long as you are dedicated, it is very possible.Goal = £9,000 in 2011, starting in March

Do you want to work from home or at home?0

Hey, maybe you would be interested in paid surveys or taking part in discussion forums and focus groups? The focus groups pay particularly well, sometimes they are online, sometimes you can go to the group meeting. You could also check out some websites dedicated to women working at home, maybe... everywoman, women unlimited, enterprising women, and mommysavers and for the onlines focus groups I mentioned you could try paidfocusgroup.co.uk or maybe panelopinion.co.uk.
 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!0 -

I've seen it discussed on here somewhere, but the 0800 numbers that guys call (you know the ones!) regularly recruit new people and you can do that whilst at home. I think you sign in and calls come in until you sign out again. You can do whatever you want whilst chatting.
Have a look into it0
