    Do you perhaps have anything you bought in good enough condition to get on ebay and sell, other than that hardship grants/bursaries are likely your best bet.

    Your rent x 12 months = 4200, that seems quite low, when I started uni I was getting 4625 when my home's household income was ~40k. How much are your student loan + maintenance grant?
