Hi,
As I was losing more money this evening at an online casino, I wondered: "Does anyone have some tips for the workings of casinos - what the odds are, whether there are better times than others to play, what subtle tricks and suggested moves there are (especially Blackjack)? Surely someone out there has worked in the business...

Tips? Well, for starters stay away from any online gaming table and don't gamble your money, unless you see a loophole to "protect" your stake. You can
buy "probability" programs costing thousands, but in the end it's all down to luck, but the house will always come out on top (eventually) >:(0 -
Disagree on that one, blackjack is actually in the punters favour, marginally, but the fact that 'blackjack' payes 1.5-1 pushes it in the players court.
In saying that you have a much better chance at winning in a REAL casino on blackjack as you can see how many decks are being used and do a very simple card counting system to improve the odds and know when to slightly up (or down) the stakes.

There is no possible way of having a 100% record in gambling, the dealer will always come out on top, you will eventually lose, there are no two ways about it. If you are serious about getting into gambling you need to have a high initial capital and be willing to take some risks, the same as entering the stock market.
The game which is most in favour of the player is blackjack, however the dealer still has a distinct advantage. There is one method that you can use to always protect your losses, its called double up. The way it works is you double your stake on every single turn, and at the end of night, you will have the same amount of money, or more money, depending on how lucky you were. However to do this you must have lots of capital that you are willing to invest, because there is still a chance that you will lose every single turn, the main thing to remember is to quit while your ahead. A heavily addicted gambler will never stop until he has lost all his money, its as simple as that, he will keep trying to win even though he is losing, continually betting at higher odds in an attempt to win his money back, but it wont work, the most tried and tested method is to double up.
But remember, quit while your ahead.0 -
are you playing perfect blackjack for starters? Like hitting on 16 v a 7 of above but sticking V a 6 etc etc...?
Also, as mentioned, there is no chance of you beating a casino in the longterm. the only way is to do it through offers. You could make a few grand out of this if you follow the ruls, play cleverly and only do reputable casinos and so on. I am currently doing this myself and have made around £500 last week.0 -
Have you read the book "Bringing down the house" by Ben Mezrich? How 6 students took vegas for milions
"..A riveting story of a team of brilliant card counters who developed a system to take some of world's most sophisticated casinos for millions of dollars"
A great read if like a game of black jack! It's great in here!0
