Do you change your foundation colour in Winter/Summer

I know its hardly like summer at the moment but it will soon come :)

Do you use a different shade foundation when the sun shines and you get a bit of a tan?

  • yes, the colour of your skin changes with the summer months so you wont need an as dark foundation. i only use tinted moisturiser no 7 but still change from light to medium depending on wether i have a tan or not

If you use a sun block and dont sunbathe then you really shouldn't need a different colour

I use the same colour foundation but warm it up with a tad more bronzer and a touch of blush in the summer
  • No, I keep my face protected with an SPF and stay out of the sun (I'm scared of sun damage/wrinkles :o), my skin is consistently the same shade :) However I do sometimes use a tinted moistuiser on really warm days as I hate feeling like I'm sweating all my foundation off!

I stay out of the sun religiously too and wear SPF all year round. However, I will sometimes use 'summer body' type lotions in summer to give me a little colour, so I change my foundation/tinted moisturiser then as well.

I keep to the same shade but sometimes change textures, I 'water' down my usual foundation by mixing it with mosituriser to make a tinted foundation with coverage or go for a more dewy foundation altogether but it be would be the same shade if I want colour I use bronzer or if my skin is in good condition I use fake tan with foundation/concealer only on the bits I need.
