I have seen this website mentioned a few times on MSE and in magazines.Checked out the website, and the stuff looks nice and mega cheap.Anyone used their stuff?I usually use mid to high end stuff, but was thinking of trying a few things out..
Any advice warmly received

Its hit an miss
I found their kabuki brish very good as was their mineral lip gloss and mineral eye shadows
Tweezers - not too good
Nail varnish - not the best ( yet load of reviews on here saying its good)
But the thing is, its like Primark. Its cheap. You can afford to try things and not get too stressed if you dont like them
Give it a go0 -

Agree about the kabuki brish, mine has lasted everyday use for last couple of years and still going strong.
As your buying on-line it can be hit and miss with coulours but it is cheap anyway.0 -
I use their gel eyeliner and find it as good as the Smashbox one I used previously.
Haven't tried any of their other products, though. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0 -
Ive shopped with them for the last 3 yrs and have had,
liquid lipstick, hypershine lipgloss, cream/gel eyeliner (which is amazing), 32 shadows palatte, mist & set spray, eyelid primer, and probably lots lots more !
check out their facebook page, next 2 offers are free postage and then 20% off entire site (which im waiting on) there are really good swatches and links to reviews so well worth a look !Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais

Anyone used their stuff?
As others have said, it depends on the product.
Things that I've liked: plumping lipgloss, eyeshadow primer, brushes, nail polish.
Things that haven't been great: shimmering facial whip, tweezers.
Those that aren't good really aren't good, not just "not great and I'll use them up and not rebuy" sort of thing. Other folks don't care for the polishes, personally I like them. I got a bottle of Metal Madness just before Christmas and it was almost good enough to go on a single coat. At the moment I'm wearing their Dark Navy on my toes but it is so dark that it pretty much looks black. Not quite the look I was going for

I've only ever tried the brushes but I love them, I have lots of different brands of brushes but I find myself consistently reaching for the ELF ones. It's the studio line, £3.50 a brush but so worth it
I like the flat-topped powder brush for applying my foundation, really buffs it in! 0 -
i've had lots of things from elf over the last few years.
have really liked :
liquid eyeliners
tweezers
plumping lip gloss/colour
all over colour stick
not so keen on skincare products/primer etc and the mascaras and varnishes,
put so cheap its worth a try,0 -
I like the quality but quite a lot of the makeup is strongly scented for some reason.0

I have brought from them a few times, after seeing how well their products did in the 'Beauty Steals' book. Mostly I have liked their products - liquid lipstick, mineral boost, tinted moisturiser - didn't like their eyeshadow quads so much - thought the packaging was a bit cheap looking.
The good thing about ELF is that, if you do make a mistake, you've only spent about £3!0 -
I really like all the stuff I've bought from there. The nail polish was ok...it did seem to peel off after a couple of days but it's cheap so I wasn't too annoyed. I really liked the shimmering facial whip, all over colour stick, eyeshadows, liquid eyeliners and the mist set spray. The bronzer was slightly dark for me but it seemed good quality.
I also got this for Christmas - http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~185.htm (I got the one for eyes and I love it)
The only problem I've had with a product was with false eyelashes...I think I might have just pulled them off of the packaging too hard so they were unusable so I might try again.0
