Spending diary

Since I made my first post last week, pepole have come up with really helpful tips. I have started a daily spend diary to see where my money goes. I kinda new that food shopping was a big issue as I always come out with chocolate cakes and biscuits that i dont need. Went to supermarket on saturday with a list and stuck to it. Actually came out with half the money still in my purse.
charging phone at work and came in with lunch. changed DD date to avoid bank charges.

Congrats landmmum. Have you looked at the daily "small things" thread? You could post your small steps on there and get some new ideas from the other posters. It is really friendly and helpful and gives you quite a boost to see what you are doing to make progresss (and to value the baby steps).
