what are the cheapest boots you can get that are REAL SHEEPSKIN
yes- ugg/emu style, but i don't care about brand names, all the REALLY cheap ones are of course faux sheepskin but i want the real deal for cheap!

Even real sheepskin doesn't mean the quality is at its best, its more to do with the construction, the skills of the person making up the boot and what quality of skins the company is prepared to use.
There are many different brands out there who make real sheepskin boots, its hard to know which really last but to my knowlegde the brands which seem to get the thumbs up on the boards are Emu, Ugg Australia, Fitflop, Celtic Sheepskin and I hear mixed things about Just Sheepskin (some good some very bad).
There are no doubt others who will agree/disagree or may have more to add to my small list but they all seem to start at the £100ish mark and rise from there. They do get reduced in the sales or with discount codes though so keep your eyes peeled especially in the sping/summer months when stores and businesses may want to clear their stockrooms.0 -
thanks jennie;
i like celtic sheepskin ones but they're not much cheaper, i'm starting to think it's just one of those products you've got to splash out on rather than getting some cheap ones that fall apart, so it'll be better in the long-run money wise to just go for some quality ones - i'll probably wait till the summer like you say - maybe i should be shopping for summer sandals now!0 -
Keep your eyes out for bargains on these named brands. I have some fitflops, emu and just sheepskin all bought at a fraction of rrp by catching a bargain. Obviously most sale stock has gone now but you never know when you will spot a bargain. Keep at eye on grabbit and check out amazon daily if you have the time. Even though I'm a big fitflop fan I think my faves are the emu ones little short ones which were £30 (rrp around £100).:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

Yes and yes- although most of the summer stock went out before Xmas! There are a few fitflops hanging around here and there though! 'Fraid you get what you pay for most of the time, if its any consolation I am also hanging out for a good deal on sheepskin boots later on this summer :cool:0 -
What are you looking to spend on the sheepskin boots?
