Baked goods to post?

Hi all,
I'd like to bake some goodies for a good friend just out of hospital. But it would need to survive through the post. Any ideas? I was thinking of muffins and putting it into a roses tin to post.

Maybe quite what you had in mind, but I've made fudge several times and posted it to Ireland (from England) and it's travelled really well. I just wrapped it in tinfoil and put it into a padded envelope.0

Brownies, or a damp cake that improves on keeping are a good idea....it ay be baking day, posting day and receiving day ...three days..before they arrived, so I think those cakes that one bakes on Thursday for the weekend are the best thing...0
