I've got the Panasonic SD 255 which was about £70 on amazon, more than I wanted to pay but I have never had a problem with it and have found the recipe leaflet that comes with it good too.

I've had it about 18 months use it a couple of time a week, I've made all kinds of bread, brioche, its really good for pizza dough.

The only problem is I eat too much bread - it smells sooo good when it's done I can't resist it!!

I've not seen any offers on the Panasonic SD 255 but have seen the Panasonic SD 254 for £41.99, this was a few months back in Comet. I guess this is similar to the 255. You could try in store to see if they have some decent offers on, sometimes their offers might not be mentioned online.
