DS's primary school is having a fundraiser in a fortnight which includes a cake stall. I'm going to make some HM cakes to send but i am wondering what to make. Any suggestions?
I am wanting to make some stuff that is pretty easy (i.e. idiot proof) but looks good and will sell well but obviously as cheap as possible to make.**
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

** what i don't get is that schools often have these fundraisers but wonder if indeed they will actually rasie any money. If it costs me 90p to make a cake that they sell for £1 - what's the point
Or even worse a cake that costs me £1.50 to make but they sell for £1!! Wouldn't be easier just to ask me to make a donation?
