Hi Doowop
I assume you have viewed other properties?
As the others have said dont get too carried away if its your first one or so.
I did that when we saw the second house which I thought was the house of my dreams, whacked in an offer (which was turned down thankfully) and so we moved on because we couldnt add more money to it.
A few weeks later we had viewed lots more and then we walked into the WOW house which we are now inA huge house 30k less than the one we offered on and in a beautiful and friendly village.:T
Funnily enough, the EA acting for the owners of the house we offered on before contacted us to ask if we would like to see the house again as it had been reduced less than what we had offered. That was over a year ago and it's still for sale :rotfl:
Sometimes if it's not meant to be it's not be but also when excitement takes over it's hard to stop that feeling that 'this is it'
Good luck and I hope you get the property of your dreams.:DLife is a rollercoaster.....ya just gotta ride it:whistle:0 -
Thanks Danlojo! I like stories like this!
The problem with me is that I have limited myself to a very specific post code in London and having scoured websites and talked to estate agents, there isn't very much on the market in this area within my price range at the moment.
This flat is the second flat I have seen, and I have seen it twice now but I am definitley going to look at others this week just to get a feel for what is on offer in this area. However, having looked at floor plans and other factors (such as the type of buildings the other flats are in, where they are in the block, where they are in the area) this does seem like the best I have seen but I won't know until I look at others.
All being said and done I could easily luck out on the mortgage side and get turned down...
Thanks to all for the help, advice and best wishes! Hopefully I can return the favour to someone else after I have been through the mill.0
