I have tons of soft nanas that need using -already made muffins and cake but would like to do a dessert for tonight. We are having steak pie so not a crumble or pie - something lighter preferably - anyone got any top ideas?

Coffee banana dessert:
4 ripe bananas
1 tbsp instant coffee powder/granules
1 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp dark brown soft sugar
180 g plain yoghurt
Mash 3 bananas with the sugar until smooth. Dissolve the coffee in the hot water and stir into the mashed bananas. Spoon a little of the banana mix into 4 dishes, then a spoonful of yoghurt and so on, layering until it is all used up. Swirl the last layer to get a marbled effect. Decorate with slices of the reserved banana. If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -
Banana Ice Cream?0

My favourite dessert as a kid was bananas and custard. You could make it a bit fancier by making some kind of banana trifle, or a Banana Eton Mess - something similar to the above.
Homemade ice cream, maybe topped with toffee sauce? Here's a simple looking recipe from BBC Good Food, but I'm also thinking that Jamie's recent mango ice cream recipe from 30 Minute Meals would work with mashed up bananas instead. Can't track down a recipe online, but from memory it was just mango pulp and yoghurt. Probably a bit of honey too.
ETA: Fried bananas were another childhood treat as well.0 -

I have some 0% fat greek yog so will mix with some double cream, sliced nanas and either some choc scuase of brown sugar - think it needs some crunch but no idea what to add - not got any biscuits or meringues to crumble in...maybe chopped peanuts?People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
