how to make eyebrows grow?

Options
I want to know cheap ways to get my eyebrows to grow. I went for my first HD Brows session yesterday and it is going to take quite a while for me to have enough eyebrows to get a good shape.

I hadn't plucked or waxed for quite a while before going to the appointment and I still don't have enough hair so I need something to stimulate the hair growth.

Any ideas? I have used the search facility to see peoples views on lash cargo, talika, loreal etc and none of them seem to worth the money. I believe HD brows are bringing out a lash/brow growth product but I can't wait that long! I want results now.

I have read online that some people use vaseline, olive oil, castor oil and other products but would like some examples from you all about MSE solutions that work.

  • To be honest it's perserverance when it comes to hair growth. I've tried different eyelash products & never been impressed.

When I was growing my eyebrows in order to get a decent shape, I had to walk round with messy brows until there was enough growth to create a nice shape.

I've also found that I now prefer to pluck my own brows as in the past I've never been happy with what the salon has done. I basically watched some good you tube clips on brow shaping & I can say I'm happy with my own plucking achievements.

I think perseverence is the key to it although I can see the beginnings of an arch which is great. The brow stylist/therapist was telling me that during their training they were told that brows are not twins but are more like sisters so shouldn't necessarily be identical. The only problem is that mine are more like second cousins twice removed!

At least I was consoling myself yesterday that if I really hated it I could use my clip on fringe and no-one would see them!

I have clearly spent too much time messing about online and not enough studying today but am on the brink of buying this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280618926580&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT I have found someone that sells it alongside the HD brows products so think it is the one they recommend and is £10 cheaper on ebay that from other sources.

Glowgirl, I am only teasing about the fringe, the psychopath look is starting to grow on me....

How do they look now you've ( presunably!) removed the make up they used?

I haven't got any make up on them today and although they don't look as defined they are still a 100% improvement on what they were before I got it done. the brows I do have are tinted and there is a shape emerging but as I have said it looks like it will be a long process to get them looking great. I will put make up on them tomorrow and begin the campaign for good brows.

http://www.hd-brows.co.uk/before--afters I went in hoping for a miracle and that my brows would transform from the before to the after in picture 2 (even though mine didn't have an arch to begin with).
