I know there's a 25% discount but does anyone know if there's a 50% code anywhere please?

I was searching the MSE archives for discounts a few weeks ago and the only 50% offer I found was a Daily Mail one that has come up the last 2 years in May.

In the first week of May they offer a free 3 month trial railcard. If you've had the offer before you have to use a new e-mail address as they store them. Once the 3 months is about to expire, they offer you 50% off a 12 month one.

Complicated and there's no guarantee they'll run it again this year but a steal if you can get it. If I remember, you get 12 months YHA membership free with the railcard too.

Very kind of you to reply. I'm not travelling until October but wanting to go from Chippenham to London Gatwick. Can the card be used for Gatwick do you know? Says that it can't be used in London so assume not but wondered if anyone knew for sure?

Just go on the trainline website, type in the ticket you want and look for the price, first without a railcard and then with. It usually makes a big difference
