generally speaking i dont think much of most of the massage chairs, pads etc but i did try a shiatsu chair pad in comet the other day that really felt like u were being massaged by a person

however it was £95 !!!! and i am not sure how much benefit u would get from it.. why dont u see if comet have some u can try near u ??

  • it's 95 but in costco it's 42 including vat will try comet just for a sitting lol
i have wrestled with my concience and the 42 would be better spent elsewhere or saved
    thanx again

While replying to your thread I am sitting in my chair being thoroughly vibrated by a £19.99 back cushion I bought from Woolies. I recently got a lot of back pain from a minor shunt and this cushion is the Bizzzzzzzzzzzzz
It has a thoracic (Upper body section) and a Lumbar (small of the back section) it also has a heating element separately heating my back. mumble mumble mumble, its great;)

    The models are either:
    SBM-200 - RRP £99;
    &
    SBM-300 - RRP £169.

The SBM-300 has a vibrating chair bottom thing and more zone specific customisation, but I couldn't see how they can charge an extra £70 just for these features.

Anyway the SBM-200 is great, Mum got one from Makro for approx £85 a few weeks ago (probably a Makro Mail offer?)

I'm on the look out for one myself if anyone sees a good deal.

I tried them out in House of Fraser, and well worth a trial to see how good they are ;)

Oh yeah, there is also a cheaper one on Play.com - £59.99:

I don't know what make or model it is so may or may not be any good??

Well in the end I have gone for the one at Boots.com

1000 extra advantage points for £100 spend, then Quidco for extra £6+ off, so not too much over £80.

OK most discount is in Boots points but I will use them ;)

BTW they also now have them in Woolworths.co.uk (not in store though or instore pickup so can't save on postage)

No not quite. The one I have is quite thin, and is adaptable for either car or home, it really is good IMHO
It has 2 speed upper back
    2 x speed lower back
    1 x on/off heater.

They usually have them in store around this time, they have been around for quite a time ;)

Well just got my SBM-200 and its great, digs in the bag so hurts a bit at 1st but you'll get used to it and can pad the back area if required until you get used to it.

If you can afford the extra amount I would definately recommend it.
