  • My sister had problems with her bank last summer, and defaulted twice on finance payments. The finance company threatened to seize the car, and she would still have to cough up the remaining £5,000.
  • Why exactly would anyone trade in a 58 plate Astra SRI and then pay another grand for a 04 plate CMax.

Something not right here. Suspect the OP's at it.

To reduce the amount they owe? To fit his growing family in? He has not come on here to be judged.

I woudl take the Cmax over the SRI every day.

I tend to find that if I don't have anything useful to say, I say nothing at all. You should take that advice also.

    They gave me
    £8000 for my car
    The purchased car was £4500
Finance for original car was £4600

So i was left with £3400
    All together i borrowed £1100

    Mr redundant,

that's what he said he's done,as to why well that's for him to say I guess, but I suspect he has his reasons.

I just get annoyed when people come and put useless comments into a thread for no reason at!! Only being aggresive at that!;)
  • I did it to reduced debt and time to pay it. But you dont expect to be ripped off by AC. But a big lesson has been learnt. Im getting the car checked by a friend tomorrow.
