Child Care Vouchers In A Private Ltd Company

Hi

I am starting up my own Private Ltd Company soon, and I wondered if I could somehow issue "myself" child care vouchers to pay for my daughter's childcare? She is with a registered childminder before school and at an approved After school club at the end of the day.

Is there a way I could do this? Thank you in advance

  • Hi!

As far as I am aware, you could set the vouchers up for the company and for all of the staff, including yourself (if you are an 'employee' of the company, as well as a director). You could then get the employers NI savings, and the employee's tax and NI savings.

Best bet is to contact a childcare voucher company and get their advice on what the best thing to do would be.

    Hope this helps!!
