Awake, Worried & wanting to talk!

Wednesday night joined the site prior to a court hearing regarding council tax. It went well really despite not knowing what i was going into, and thanks to this site i found info and comfort in searching and reading others posts and replies, massively helpful even in challenging the councils reps in court.

The reason for the post in this area of the forum was to wonder if there could be a 'sticky' post where people who were simply still awake and wanted to 'talk' to somebody else awake, could. I suppose that sometimes a place to simply know someone else is worried too and awake can be the best help.

Nothing is totally sorted for me yet but the advice and experience of others on here helped me face the 'next day' with only an hours sleep. For that i am eternally grateful.

Tonight i am awake late after a lovely late night spent with friends, ... but for the nights that I or others are in a darker place ... How are you doing?

x

Hi Pedal, I’ve had sleepless nights but your with others who are or were in the same boat & hopefully you will get through it, also the help & advices I’ve had on here is brilliant & I’m starting a long journey to sort myself out (you can read from my post’s), started by going on the CCCS web site & going from there, I still worry but also relived that there are so many people on this site that care:A.

  • Hey Pedal

Just wanted to say welcome to the forum. Although it is quiet on here in the early hours of the morning, there are quite a few still up and worrying. It is dreadful when you can't sleep and knowing that you are not alone is in itself a great comfort. I hope that you will soon have some better nights when you are able to sleep. I myself have had many sleepless nights, I am a worrier of anything and everything, not just about money. But have found that now I am back in control and have a plan for sorting out my debt the weight is lifted a bit, and am able to get some decent sleep.

Wishing you the same, and keep posting on here, tons of really helpful DFWers will be along with support and advice.

Wishing you a good weekend Dolly x ;)
