Problem with Credit file from Equifax

i have a cahoot current account which I have had for the last 8 years, the problem i received a call from their contact centre advising me I needed to make a minimum payment towards my current account for that month , they advised me that i needed to send a montly payment of around £20 they advised me they could take details of my debit card to take a payment there and then , I wasnt sure about the call and advised I would deal with it online . I submitted the minimum payment of around £20.00 14 days later than I should have, theafter ensured a montly payment was paid.
The real reason for my post is i recently checked my credit file with equifax and noted that they have me noted as "ap" (an arrangemen to pay) noted on my credit file. I dont recall making this kind of arrangement with them and would not have for a current account with an overdraft of £1500. I would probably accept that I was i month late with my minimum payment, The rest of my credit file is perfect but i am concerned that they have kepy this "ap marker" on my credit file from sept-december 2010.
can anyone advise me f i would be better accepting that I missed 1 payment and how could i remove this arrangement to pay>
