Anyone tell me a good make/model for a slow cooker - I had one which I got rid of becasue although I had it on low heat I had to keep adding water to casserole so felt it was dangerous to leave when not nearby - which is the whole point of a slow cooker. Anyone know of a good make with a good lid which fits?
Really appreciate any help!! Annie0 -

Sometimes I think more is less. Get one with a variety of settings and of suitable size.Don't let 'cheapness'detract you from getting money saving item that does job. Otherwise false economy trying to squeeze decent qaulity out of basic item.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Asda are doing one for £9 thats 3.5L. I got one as don't always want to cook loads in my big 6.5L one. Perhaps not very MSE but I run out of room in my freezer quickly if I do loads of batch cooking. The Asda one has Low and High settings only.0
