Hiya everyone, Well I was on a Debt Managment plan with Churchwood with my last payment which was on 2nd Jan 2011. I decided I wanted to change my plan with CCCS as they dont charge, as Churchwood was charging me £38 a month.
I made my first payment to cccs on 10th Feb 2011 and I wrote to Churchwood on 11th January explaing I wanted to cancel my plan and told then I was canceling my Direct Debit and sent the letter by Recorded Delivery and they recieved it on 13th January 2011.
Since I sent that letter I have had not coraspondence with them what so ever confirming my cancelation. Im a bit worried is this normal? and have started paying cccs now.

Hi, I can't help re Churchwood as haven't heard of them. Could you try ringing them? You have every right to change DMP company. If CCCS have now taken over the DMP, they will inform your creditors of this. Well done for moving though!! £38 a month to Churchwood is a lot when it could be going to your debts. I've found CCCS really helpful and hope that you will do too.0
