How do I get Cahoot to update my credit file?!

I'm probably just being impatient but after a dispute with Cahoot over my current account they have agreed to refund back charges applied in error when my DMP was originally set up. This means my balance is now 0 and they can close the account. I have been monitoring my credit file - it still shows the balance outstanding and that I'm 6 payments down and hasn't been updated since 20th December. I've called them and written to them requesting my credit file be updated. I called them again yesterday and was told that it would be updated automatically at the end of February (was also told that for January). What can I do to get them to update my file?
I've officially complained to them about my a default on my credit card and am so tired of trying to sort this all out and dreading my next phone bill.
My bank will only give me a cash card, I can't get a cheaper phone contract in my own name and at some point in the near future will need to get a new mortgage deal but until this has been done I can't do anything.
