Another great activity from IKEA Lakeside!!! To celebrate the Grand opening of their NEW cook shop department, IKEA Lakeside are giving away FREE frying pan to all customers dressed in chef outfit on Wednesday 23rd Feb.

They are also giving away FREE kitchen utensil to every child that comes in dressed as a chef! What a great family activity to do this half term! And its all FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also heard that there's going to be a celebrity chef opening up their NEW department! I'm going have to keep an eye out on their website to find out who it is! LOTS more activities happening that day. Check out their local page.

I wouldnt get too excited last year they did a turn up in your pjs and get a free double quilt and pillows set to celebrate thier bed dept, we were planning on doing the 50 mile trip anyway and thought it would be fun to take the neices and our pjs to put on over the top of our clothes and make a good day of it...we got there at 10.30 and were told that all the quilts and pillows were gone by 9.30 ! we did have a good day but there were an awfull lot of very dissappointed people walking round in their pyjamas, will be interested to hear how it went.

The latest is that there's a celebrity chef Antony Warrel Thompson coming according to their website to the grand opening so i'm sure they must have enough frying pans this time around! Think it's going to be a good day out for the family whatever happens.

I know the feeling - it has happened to me and it's really annoying..........so now I try to do a bit of digging....

Found the product code for the frying pan give away on the ikea lakeside's web site and then checked stock. They have shed loads!

So I know what I am doing Wednesday with the kids - freebies, fun and they can trash ikea and not home.

Get down to IKEA Lakeside today - the pan give away is great I have got mine and they have pallet loads!!!!

Chefs every where including fab demonstration on pancake making by AWT.

They had in a local school who cooked with AWT really nice touch and great to see a company working with schools in they locality...

I have things planned for today so had to leave earlier than I would like - but there is still so much going on.

A proper freebie!!! Get down there............:T
