hi there, any advice?
i had a gym membership which was cancelled last june and think i only had a couple of months left.
Cancelled the dd with the intention of paying when i was more flush however forgot, and received a letter yesterday saying i owe £82 within 7 days, which is 3 months payment.
can they really demand this within 7 days?

I'd call them and say it was an error, ask if you can repay over 3 months.Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0

Yes they can demand it within 7 days. Do you really mean 'can they enforce it'? No they can't and they can't send bailiffs unless they have a court order - although they can send a doorstep collector. Your first step should be to check with your terms and conditions how much you do owe. And then send some money and propose a repayment schedule.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
