I have to say I didn't get too many problems with them, I just kept things in writing, didn't take the phone bait, and just followed the advice of Folk's like Niddy and Darkconvict. They soon backed off. That was nearly a year ago. Where they really get up my snotter  Is when they use Telogram their tame South African Based Trace company to phone your Parents, Employer, Home and come up with things like we are trying to deliver a package, oh by the way how long have they lived there? or Is Mr Handy there, this is Customs and Revenue, can you confirm this is his address as he has a tax rebate to come.

Chippy Kick my soap box away as your getting me started and after all this is letmeregisters thread.

  • Thank you all for giving me advice, I sent a letter not signed and with the £1, stating that the £1 was for the credit agreement to be sent I sent it to them with proof of delivery, just waiting to see what they have to say now, I made a mistake and answered the phone when asking them who the debt was with I was given a third company, I will let you all know what happens next, I feel a lot better just being able to talk to someone about this, I'm 60 years young and this is all very stressful for me, so thank you all again for helping me with this problem
  • Since writing my last post I have again had my letter & £1 returned about 4 weeks ago, as I have not answered them I'm waiting for the phone calls to start again, I'm starting to think that they do not have a credit agreement to send to me so I have decided to ignore all phone calls from them & wait and see what happens next, will keep you posted

In my experience when Crapquest (that name is so apt) decide they are not getting anywhere with their spurious claim they sell it on to another company (or it may be the same company with a different name)

Do not be surprised if, in a few months time, you get a similar letter, for a bit larger amount, from a different company.

    Just respond the same way
