This is the odd thing - they don't appear to have made her redundant or dismissed her, just 'not giving her hours'.
She said in her second post that it's the LEA she works for, so I assume that's who she has the contract with.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Sorry I'm not being clear, the job is based at the specific school. When I went for my meeting all I was told was that the tasks that I did were to be taken on by the person covering my role, therefore there would be in there words 'no hours' for me.
Since I informed them that I was on a contract I was told that they would look into it and get back to me as they had loads of time till I went back. I have since sent a letter as advised by ACAS by I still haven;t heard anything.
I am due back on the 1st of March and next week is half term so I'm not sure whether to contact the school this week and push the issue or wait and see if by them ignoring the problem I give them 'more rope to hang themselves with' if you see what I mean.
