Hi,
This thread has been created to provide feedback on mattresses and I would really appreciate it if it could be used by non retailers only.
All consumer mattress reviews are welcome and encouraged especially if you have had the mattress for more than a year or so.
Thanks!

Hi Allstar,
This was a great idea to start up a thread like this. I salute your good thinking, please allow me to be the first to contribute.
I bought my bed from a place called b edlum beds. It was the La Romantica Madrid king size. 1000 Pocket Sprung, double sided memory foam 60kg/m.
I've had the mattress for about.....nearly 3 months now and I think it's brilliant. I would say it is very firm but I like this and the memory foam on top is just enough to be very comfy, whilst still being supportive and firm.
It did take a while to get used to it but now I am used to it I find that I sleep right through the night, whereas before I didn't and it is very comfortable to lie in and read a book...if you're into that.
I know I've not had the mattress for more than a year but as I'm a non retailer I hope this is ok.
As a side note the company I bought it from were fantastic, very good on communication, delivery and even gave me the option of swapping it for another mattress if it turned out after 14 days I didn't like. A++
Once again Allstar, great threadI was put on this earth to accomplish a certain amount of things, at this rate I may never die!0 -
Hi allstar, I have a Rest Assured Rossini 1000 bought from a local independent bed shop. I bought this mattress after researching the internet for mattresses in my price range then went to seek them out. It is a 5' 1000 pocket springs with a latex top and it's like sleeping on a cloud (I don't like mattresses too firm). It replaced a memory foam that was too hot for me, comfortable, but way too hot.
I would recommend this mattress to anybody, I've been sleeping on it now for about 18 months, the local shop I bought it from was only too willing to beat the lowest internet price I could find and deliver free. I visited the shop about 6 times to have a lay on the mattress and others of course. I was confident about buying a Rest Assured, as they sell them in Costco, and as far as I know Costco don't sell rubbish and are very particular who supplies them products.
So my vote goes for Rest Assured Rossini 1000.
