This new magazine appears to be targeted at the over-50s. I received the offer in a mailing from an animal welfare charity.
"You may not have heard of 'Heyday' before - but rest assured once you start turning the pages of this NEW magazine you'll discover a wealth of useful advice, entertainment and inspiration...plus, 'Heyday' is much more than just a magazine - our membership service entitles you to exclusive access to fabulous savings and special offers on anything from holidays to music. But don't just take our word for it, why not try it yourself with your FREE ISSUE.
With every issue you'll discover a huge variety of features and articles dedicated to the baby boomer generation. There's travel adventures, simple methods of coping with stress, invaluable health advice, how to best adapt to major life changes, smart ways to reduce your energy bills, inspirational beauty and fashion tips and much, much more.
Your invitation to try 'Heyday' magazine is completely risk-free, because you'll receive a free issue with absolutely NO obligation. So, please try 'Heyday' for yourself, and make up your own mind about this NEW magazine".
It's not exactly my cup of tea ( a little too young, maybe!) - but it sounds a good read. I would imagine the hotline will be like most of these 'complimentary copy' offers - they will ask if you would like a reduced price subscription, but will gracefully accept a refusal.
Would be interested to know what it's like, if anyone tries it!
