assistance with bankruptcy fees

Hi
After much searching and enquiring it looks like myself and my husband are going to have to declare ourselves bankrupt...
Is there anyone who can help us with the fees as we have a majorly low income and as we have a 7month old daughter we cant afford to live too like students for however long in order to save the money we need (if you know what I mean). We are unable to borrow the money required from friends or family and not sure where we are best going.
Will go to our local CAB tomorrow but in the meantime any ideas? Have tried searching online but it is very confusing!

Charities associated with the utility companies offer help with bankruptcy fees.
Google the likes of British Gas, EDF and nPower, and something should pop up.
I'm told the eligibility conditions are strict, and many people cannot meet them, but the grants are there.0 -
Hello TISC and Welcome, There are a number of charities that may help with bankruptcy costs and fees depending on eligibility. Please remember you need to go through the Debt charity who is helping you and allow at least three/four months to get the ball rolling too.
Best wishes

There is lots of links and info, including links to people who may be able to help. If you are on a low income then you may get a fee remission on the fees of £150. The CAB will be able to tell you what is available and fill in any forms for you.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
