CCJ..any way back?

Hi, i have a CCJ, for an asda credit card, to the tune of 3grand.
I'm paying £10 per month at the moment....(i will die before it's paid off at this rate, i know ;))

Long story short, i have severe depression, stuck head in sand and agreed to whatever they said to make them go away, but obviously it didn't, and i said i can only pay £10 per month.

My question is, IF i manage to throw money at this over the next few months and pay it off, what will this mean for my credit file?
Does it still stay there for 6 years? Even when settled?

Many thanks for your help!
