Thx OP, just been looking at this online- can't quiye understand as red blob on the menu says meal deal for £10? I wonder if they're doing a non finest version too?!

Those lamb shanks are normally £10 alone and are delicious, the meat just flakes off if you cook it right! If you don't like pink meat though off the bone I wouldn't suggest them! :cool:

I bought the Tesco Valentine meal deal today, it looks yum.
It had just been put out on the shelf and the price wasn't up, so had to query how much it was - £15. They did ask which meal deal I was asking about, so maybe they are doing a non finest version to, although I didn't see one out.

There was also a choice of either Banock Station Reserve Chardonnay or Cabernet Savignon Shiraz as the wine choice, which they were selling for £9.99 out with the meal deal.

Am a bit fed up of the M&S meal deal, so it will be nice to try something different.

pay the extra fiver and get the steak and choc from M&S, has to be better quality as well

Waitrose are doing a lovely meal deal for £15, you get main for 2, 2 sides, dessert for 2 plus a bottle of prosecco or a box of chocolates.

Odd how they've put the price up for Valentines day.

It was definitely only £10 for the main, side, dessert and wine 2 weeks ago. Was very very tasty though!
