What do you buy a 17 year old boy?

Hi.

My nephew turns 17 shortly and I'm clueless as to what to buy for him. He's just passed his driving test so he's into driving at the minute, other than that I'm not too sure what he's into, apart from he does a bit of drum teaching.

Any ideas what I can buy? Would prefer to avoid gift certificates / vouchers and the gift needs to be small-ish enough to send via post.

Im not sure if he has a car or not but what about car cleaning stuff ? Like a hamper but in a bucket?

Autoglym or poorboys stuff, sponge ,etc

What about a CD, to listen to his car, you could ask family or friends if there is a paticular type of music he likes or CD he would like xxx

Find out what colour his car is and buy him a matching metallic tax disc holder and maybe some metallic dust caps for his tyres. He'll love 'em!

He lives in america so do their tax discs fit UK holders?
