Newish ( been there a year now but we hardly ever see each other) next door neighbour was chatting to me and climbed over the low boundary wall onto my drive , so he could tell me about his ski-ing holiday and I could tell him about Egypt...the garage door was open....Why have you got about 100 bottles of Domestos on that shelf ? He asked.....Because the cupboard under the sink is full and so is the shed ...I said....;)

I don't have anywhere near that amount of products, but whenever anyone looks under my kitchen sink, they ask why I have so many washing up liquids, and fairy, aeriel, etc. (glitch at sainsburys a while ago) and 50p off vouchers for fairy washing up liquid.

They just don't understand when I say I am stocking up while it is cheap. It means I don't have to worry about that on my budget for the month!

I nearly cried when I realised I had run out of glitch shampoo and conditioner :( now have to start buying again!

We may look mad, but there is method in our madness and that is we are saving money in the long run!

I keep my stash in the loft of the garage - had a look the other day and I've got loads of stuff still. Did someone say ages ago that Rinse Aid is good for washing UPVC - I hope so, I've got bottles of it :rotfl:

This is how I look at it. OH sometimes complains about the amount of washing powder, gel, fabric conditioner, bleach and shower gel in his shed, but they are things I can draw on and not need to worry about buying when pennies are tight.
