Did my first DTD...carefully planned my spend to just over £30 so that I could use the Co-op MOC and when I got to the till the SA said '£28':eek::eek: I asked her to put through an extra Comfort to bring my total spend past £30 and she then started debating whether or not she could even take the bl**dy voucher. While she spoke to a supervisor I had to run back to the aisle and grab the extra Comfort :o Quite a big queue behind me.

If i've calculated it right I should get £25 DTD for £28 shop. When I checked my receipt I was really annoyed with myself  Bought 2 x Birdseye Sweetcorn (£1.75 T, £1 A) but I hadn't realised they were 2 for £2 :( So I missed out on getting them for 25p...

Also had a struggle because the Huggies wipes and velvet tissues which I had banked on for my £30 total spend were both 'missing' from the relevant shelves. Hmmm - convenient when they were free/profit to be made.

I had to dash to get something else yesterday as I'd not built in the 5% discount for 6 bottles of wine, so a quick dash for a bottle of Pepsi. There were some special offer aeros at the end of the tills but I didn't want any bargains - not with that shop anyway.

When you plan a shop it always worth having a few extras listed as back up incase the shelves are empto for the things on your list or your mind seems to blank out on what to buy.

wow i've not been able to come on since Sat morning as i'v been extra busy at work and boy have i got a lot to catch up on.guess by skimming over the last page or so that there is a good profit to be made from Tesco my nearest Tesco is about 20 miles away but it so happens DH & i can detour (have to talk sweet to him ;) )to it when DIY shopping tomorrow. i wonder if any one can advise me on a few good item to buy feeling shattered but will try to catch up on the last 15-20 pages i've missed. i dont mind buying abit of alcohol but not big drinkers . 5 of us plus 2 dogs to feed so easy do a £50 shop as i also have afew moc to use. i m guessing i'll need to do 2 shops one for bogof & good buys & one for items for price dtd offer. boy it goes a\gainst all i normally do when i shop eg look for best buys, offers etc tia
