Asda were kind enough to give me a coupon for just over £50 for spending £47 (after MOC's;)) with them...nice of them to pay me to take a much higher pile of stock out of the store:cool::D:j:rotfl::T
Thats an excellent result! I did wonder whether any use of MOCs would be counted against the 10% deal, suspected not and you seem to have proved it.

MOC's don't count against the shopping total...they are just a different form of payment;)
(and much more profitable for the stores that handle them correctly...they get paid approx 3p per coupon as a handling fee, when they could otherwise be paying 2.5% in credit card charges)
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

My highest is £37.21 so far but I think I may have got closer to your one tonight:D
I did put my 4 bags of LARGE white buttons :j:j:j(£1 in asda) on a seperate shop as I didn't know if it would affect my total spend. For anyone who doesn't know, the Asda price guarantee can be used in Tesco. I was lucky enough to get a "rag" when it was advertised that they accept Asda price guarantees and now carry it around with me, but so far have had no problem with it being accepted in Tesco.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

    From T&C's

The competition started on 07.02.2011 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 12.00pm on 21.02.2010

So looks like it will be available for another 10 or 11 days, unless......BW's been a bit quiet:p....

Mine printed yesterday were 11/3 so as VC says probably expire after 30 days

I got 4 lots of anchor cream, strawberries and Large (hmmm maybe I should have got the small ones:o) white buttons in Asda tonight. That's my valentines night sorted:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Just a shame they didn't have any of the chocolate cream left:D

Morning all - shame the coupon in Daily Mail isn't for groceries :D

  • Just come across an interesting site www.verylittlehelps.com from reading a post about someone who was banned from a Tesco Express recently. It seems to be a forum for Tesco staff to discuss all manner of things 'Tesco'
One of the posts on there was about changing the buttons on the tills. It might be worth a visit occasionally to find out what they are planning next. I've only had a quick look as I'm off to work in a moment, but will look more thoroughly later to see if I can find any info about coupons.
  • Morning all - my goodness you lot are fast workers lol. Went to bed early as was absolutely cream crackered and come back to loads of posts to catch up on! Very interesting techie info - fantastic forum this. Peeps never fail to amaze me how helpful they are.
Going to T's & A after work so will be back later.
  • Yay, got my buttons from Sainsburys, thought i'd never get them!

If anyone has the 50p coupon from inside the Discovery Fajita boxes Sainsburys are doing 3 for £3 offer , so this morning I bought 2 salsa sauces and a box of taco trays for £1.50 instead of £6.

Just had another go on the Velvet comp and it said I'd already played today - I haven't - they must be on a different time zone. Anyway, used a different email and hey presto - 2 more Velvet MOC's and 2 for a friend too ;).

    Nice one Swood !
