Morning all
just off to try the velvet comp. So far won 2 x £10 and 3 x £1.
Got my Velvet from the co-op, bit dearer there but did use the .50p coupon so not too bad. Just not worth it for a £1 so won't bother with them, want the £10 if poss.
CWxx
Make that 3 x £10 velvet wins.
Loads of the comp velvet in my co-op, DS told me they re stocked the shelves yesterday.

Have inspired me to look out for these promotional packs now - what with time spent lurking in Asda to womble receipts, lurking in Sainsburys for discarded till spits and now the search for velvet competition packaging - I will rarely be home to prepare any of the food I get for free from vouchers from here! lol!

And wombling the Coke bottles - or is that just me?!! :eek:0 -
The reply from Bullshot is technically correct, but the detailed T&C can only be accessed via the web.
The T&C on the pack do not mention the need to send back the wrapper and neither does the form printed off the web when claiming winnings. The only requirement for return listed on those documents is the till receipt.
Is it now reasonable to disallow claims when there is a clear ambiguity in the notification of the rules? Key conditions of the competition should be visible at the time of purchase, in my opinion, as they may influence the decision to purchase in the first place.
It seems to me that the organisers of the competition, presumably a specialist company separate from the manufacturer, may not have ensured that the rules are absolutely clear and consistent across all the promotional material.
The manufacturer is Procter and Gamble - I wouldn't have though they would be best pleased if something with their name on is not 100% right.
Anyone for taking it up with P&G? Not me though!TC's state quite clearly
5. Winners will need to send their till receipt, packaging containing the winning code along with their full name (which a cheque can be made payable to), email address used to enter online and full postal address. Please allow 28 days for receipt of prize. All prizes will be sent as a cheque.0 -

Oooh, hadn't thought of that
Funniest thing in Tesco last night - had a £3.76 asda price guarantee voucher and at end of transaction SA said Oh, I have to keep your receipt. So she kept my Tesco receipt and stapled the asda voucher to it. Have visions of SA day-dreaming at staff talk about the a.p.g and catching on at "keep receipt".
That was the first time I'd used one of these and receipt was mentioned. Can't see what use to them it is anyway as this is a loss-leader promotion for them and Ive read before on here that coupons now get disposed of by Tesco and they bill Valassis or something?
Oh well, confirmation at least that Tesco training is still second-to-none
Been passing my veg pot vouchers onto a veggie friend who thinks they are the bees-knees. I can't abide pulses - had nightmares as a child of being force-fed butter beans after a revolting dinner lady tried to insist I clear my plate of them before I could go out to play! Old Bag! My mum went mental when she found out I'd been kept in at lunch, on my own, sat in front of my now cold dinner. OMG, often look back on childhood as the "good old days" and tut when you hear of ridiculous measures at school giving children so much word power but with these memories you can see why. Anyway, sorry a bit off topic. Getting ready for Asda stalking now with highly embarrassed (but bribed) child in tow. lol.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

I emailed Innocents and complimented them on their juices but told them exactly what I thought of their Thai veg pot and this is their reply:
Hello Judy,
"Thanks a lot for getting in touch. We really are sorry to hear that you weren't keen on our Thai veg pot. Taste is such a personal and subjective thing that try as we might, it's impossible to make recipes that absolutely everyone will love. Thai coconut curry is one of our most popular recipes and we receive lots of positive feedback about it, but we do appreciate that it's not for everyone and we're just really sorry that you found it so disappointing.
We really appreciate feedback whether good or bad, so to thankyou for taking the time to get in touch and to try to make up for the bad experience I've popped a voucher in the post for you to give the range one last go on us".
Very nice of them, but will not be travelling 15 miles to try another one:rotfl:
In fact Ive still got another Dahl and a Mexican one sitting in fridge that I cant seem to offload on any of my family and really cant pluck up courage to try myself:rotfl:2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494
