I've joined a new website forum thingy...it's called Castoff.net and is like ebay but a lot more fun......they have comps and fun and trivia and you can buy and sell stuff for free at the moment until they get up and running, I def have nothing to do with this site, I've been entering their comps , posted on the Daily Comp site on MSE and I got an invite to join....the reason for my posting this info is if you win stuff you don't want you could sell it without using ebay...I only enter for stuff I want to win , but sometimes I get runner up prizes...I kept the £10 vouchers from the Barclays comp but donated the footballs to a charity for raffle prizes, along with a few other things I had won....if I use this sire I could sell them and then either keep the money or give it to charity....http://forum.castoff.net/

For £1 i'd forget it and keep the receipt for another win - according to the T&Cs you're only entitled to the first one and it may be registered on their system that the £1 was won on the same day - you never know you might get a 0 on the end of it tomorrow :)

    My advice too

the quotes for the above 2 posts are from the wrong peeps....my post that is quoted is the one that says originally posted by bettyboo and the 2nd one that says it is by bettyboo is mine...hope you've all paid attention and realised that.....'cos it confused me:(
I've been confused all day there 2 of us around!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Just back from Tesco and got a 4 pack of puff pastry (sweet) mince pies, price label said 0.01p and thats what they went through at. My eyes nearly popped out my head as I've never been able to find the penny bargains before. They were in the bakery section where the cookies and donuts are.

Josie 1) you need a promo pack as you have to send it off and 2) - you may not get your win as they will check that your receipt says you brought them after winning on the website - always best to buy the toilet rolls first before playing.

Well done Blue - that stole my joy of being a multi winner - gonna keep going now though!

I beg to differ tho' as the claim form doesn't say you have to send the promo pack (or any pack come to that), just your receipt.

I nipped out last night and got a four pack in T's, so at least my receipt is the same day as my win. I didn't buy a promo pack and the barcode on both are the same (I'd copied and pasted the barcode minus the last "2" as you say). Triple Velvet 4 pack currently reduced in T's from £2 to £1.75, then only £1.25 with my 50p coupon, even better! Then of course there was my Asda coupon! :j

Another classic example of T's selling smaller sizes at better value than large ones! I don't mind as always check these things, just feel sorry for the poor sods who just think oh a bigger pack = better value.
