I ordered flowers to be delivered to his work (first job in 12 years after being medically retired due to a back injury and 4 years at uni) only for them to be delivered on Friday
. I also got him chocolate lips, a valentines cake from tesco and from poundland some valentine chocolates and (the usually annual trashy gift) a bell which he rings for sex 
Last year I wrote/typed out 100 different reasons why I love him, folded each up individually and placed in a valentines gift bag secured with ribbon. He took ages to read them all
