Where to buy card and paper for invitations?

We are buying our pocketfold invitations from PDA Card and Craft however we need to also buy card and paper to make inserts, table plan, evening invites etc.

We want to buy A3 paper and would prefer to buy from a shop so that we can match the colours to our ribbon etc.

Anyone got any recommendations? (We live in Gloucester)

We were going to buy from papermilldirect at Swindon outlet village however have heard that the shop has closed down...

Thanks

I bought mine from PDA Card and Craft. its online, but you can buy a swatch pack with has a sample of all their cards so you can get a colour match.

  • Yeah we are a bit gutted to hear that papermill has closed down in Swindon (the closest one is over 100 miles away).

Unfortunately PDA don't have a colour to match, although their prices for A3 coloured card is quite expensive anyway (57p + VAT each if you buy 100+).

Looking on the hobbycraft website - their A3 coloured card is £1.10 a sheet!!

A3 card from papermill is £4.99 for 10 sheets however although we were planning on getting a £9.99 box containing 70 - 80 sheets....

    :(

Paperchase sell coloured paper and card in varying sizes. Again it's not cheap.
saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

Would the first one here not be suitable?

Bear in mind the price is not for 1 sheet of A4 this would be for 4 as its a large size as standard and then can choose to have it cut to A3, A4 etc and would also get a discount the more you purchase. Just a thought, I personally can't recommend anywhere else as this is where I got all mine from and found them really good, I know most other people on here use PDA but other than that the only other place I can think of is Hobbycraft I'm afraid
